NEW CONSTRUCTION AND REMODEL DESIGN FOR YOUR HOME OR CABIN

The information provided below is a snapshot of our design process and what to expect when your design begins.

CONSULTATION

Basic evaluation
Estimate of timeline and plan cost
Discussion of wants, needs and desired style of home

BIDDING

Plan is preliminary, all floor plans are developed along with the front elevation
Will send out your plan to any builder of your choosing or recommend a great builder for your home's style
Revisions to plans (if necessary) once builder is chosen

DESIGN PROCESS

Collection of inspiration: sketches, photos, etc.
Development of preliminary floor plans & elevation
3D views with REVIT software to aid in visualization
Back and forth design and meetings until the plan is ready for bidding

PERMIT PLANS

The lot, design, and cost are finalized
The plan is now fully developed with all elevations, dimensions and details required for permit

CONSTRUCTION

The action begins and occasionally changes are made to the plan
We are always available for site meetings or design input until the the project is complete

When you work with North House, you are also free to shop for builders to find the best deal and a personality you are comfortable with. This can also prevent a builder from building the same home just down the street keeping your house truly customized to you.
