Revit Drafter / Designer

 

A Day on the Job

• Provide design and drafting of site-specific construction plans in Revit of single-family buildings including new construction, additions, and remodels.

• Communicate and consult with customers and builders on various design projects. 

• Update plans based on redlines, change orders, and field changes.

• Provide details to customers to required design specifications.

• Review plans prepared by drafters prior to release.

• Prepare plans for permit application.

• Maintain job related files.

 

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the residential drafting and design industry.

• Strong working knowledge of Revit.

• Proficient in residential structural requirements including floor systems, header sizing and braced wall design. 

• Willingness to work independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required.
